Have The Perfect Holiday: Las Vegas Christmas
Lace Up Your Skates and Hit the Ice in Las Vegas
Although most people consider Las Vegas the destination for poolside parties and gambling, there are several activities to do in the winter months as well. The Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino’s Boulevard Pool is transformed into an ice skating rink during the winter, allowing their guests to enjoy the holiday spirit while on vacation. If you’re looking for a more family-friendly activity, then ice skating at Cowabunga Bay Waterpark is the perfect option. And if you want to see how much brighter Las Vegas is this holiday season, staying at the Cosmopolitan is a perfect choice. Providing you with a balcony, you can see the Christmas lights glow from the Strip!
No matter what you choose, Las Vegas has plenty of ways to celebrate the holidays! A couple of things to keep in mind when planning your trip: if you’re traveling with children, it’s a good idea to bring a change of clothes because chances are they will get soaked from all of the fun activities. Also, don’t forget your camera! While enjoying yourself is not a requirement, taking photos of your time in Las Vegas will help you remember this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Las Vegas Christmas: Enjoy A Festive Winter Wonderland
The Bellagio Conservatory has transformed into a wintry paradise just in time for the holidays. This Conservatory, open from this November to next January 1, will take you from the middle of the desert to the Arctic. The Bellagio Conservatory is a beautiful site to shoot pictures, with thousands of lights and a Christmas tree that is more than 40 feet tall. If you’re spending the holidays in Las Vegas, you shouldn’t miss this attraction (there might even be polar bears there). Polar bears, of course, but in sculpture form.

Enjoy The Glittering Lights At A Drive-Through
Drive-through holidays are a lot of fun. You get to experience the joy of the season with little hassle, and you can even indulge in some treats without worrying about how much that slice of pie is going to cost you. There’s one drive-through holiday that’s particularly glitzy and glamorous, though: the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is home to over five million glittering lights, 600 animated displays, and 200 lighted trees.
If you’re not planning on hitting the Strip this holiday season, this drive-through might be the next best bet. The admission price goes to support over 50 children’s charities in Southern Nevada, so it’s sure to put a smile on your face (and your children’s). The 2.5-mile course is open from November 22 until January 8, 2023 (that’s over 100 days!), so there will definitely be ample time for you to grab a carload of friends or family members and enjoy the lights together! Plus, if you don’t have your own car, or if you want to go with a group that includes people who wouldn’t fit into your vehicle, then the Santa Tram will also be available for rides.

See The Lights From Above
This Christmas, Las Vegas is all decked out in lights and decorations. There’s no place better to see the holiday spirit than in Sin City! The High Roller is a 550-foot-tall observation wheel with amazing views of the entire city, and it’s a great way to see the lovely festive city from up above. Although not as festive as the other activities on this list, this is a romantic way to do with your loved one this Christmas in Las Vegas. If you’re looking for something fun to do during your trip, this is the way to go!

See The Beautiful Lit-Up Cacti
Your Christmas tree may be beautiful and your ornaments may be perfect, but if you’re looking for something that’s a little more out of the ordinary, check out Ethel M’s Chocolate Factory. This is the 29th year that they’ve hosted this event, which features thousands upon thousands of lights wrapped around hundreds of cacti.
While the theme was the original “Christmas in July,” this event has garnered popularity with locals and tourists alike. The entrance fee is only a dollar and will go to charity. You’ll love how these cacti look decorated; most people would never think to decorate them for the holidays! There are even chocolate houses, sculptures, and live demonstrations of how they create these!
The main event will be from December 1st-2nd, but there’s an open house on November 29th-30th that’s open to the public too. Just be sure to check it out since it’s over on January 2nd!
